Creative Director

Kevin Luchmun, founder of Luchmun Studios, is a globally recognized figure in men’s hairdressing and barbering. Renowned for his innovative approach, Kevin seamlessly blends traditional techniques with modern artistry. With over 20 years of industry experience, he has influenced trends worldwide, earning prestigious accolades such as the 2024 Men’s Hairdresser of the Year award at the British Hairdressing Awards - his second time winning this honor.

In addition to his salon work, Kevin has collaborated with prominent publications like Men’s Health and Esquire, which once highlighted his work as "Britain's Most Influential Haircut" in 2014. His career also includes a significant tenure as the International Art Director at Toni & Guy, where he led global education and creative initiatives.

Currently, Kevin serves as the International Artistic Team Lead for Andis, a global leader in barbering tools. In this role, he spearheads innovative educational programs and creative projects. Kevin’s dedication extends to photography, where his signature style merges fashion, hairstyling, and technical precision, making his work a fixture on global platforms and catwalks​.

His leadership at Luchmun Studios reflects his commitment to advancing men’s grooming, merging barbering with high-end men’s hairdressing to deliver an unparalleled client experience.

SENIOR BARBER

Connor's journey in hairdressing began in 2007, inspired by his Nan, a fellow hairdresser. Starting as a Saturday assistant, his passion quickly propelled him through an apprenticeship, where he discovered a love for shorter cuts and transitioned into barbering.

While traveling Asia, Connor honed his skills by cutting hair in hostels, funding his journey. Upon returning to the UK, he worked in Afro-Caribbean and classic Italian barbershops, refining his fading, clipper work, and scissor techniques. In 2020, he joined a renowned company, where his talents earned him Barber of the Year 2024.

Connor is also a passionate educator, teaching at West Suffolk College for nearly four years, inspiring the next generation of barbers. In 2024, he joined the Fellowship for British Hairdressing’s PROJECT: Men & Media, advancing his skills in barbering, stage work, education, and creative photoshoots.

Meet Roxanne: A Barbering Journey from South Africa to England

We’re thrilled to welcome Roxanne to the Luchmun Studios family!  With over 13 years of experience, she brings an inspiring journey and a wealth of expertise to our team.

Roxanne’s story begins on the vibrant streets of South Africa, where her passion for barbering first took root.  Over the years, that passion has flourished, leading her to own her own salon and earn prestigious accolades, including the Perfect Cut and Street Style awards in 2020, an incredible testament to her talent and dedication.

Now based in England, Roxanne is a proud member of the Artero Artistic Team, where she continues to push boundaries and innovate in her craft.  She is deeply committed to education, constantly refining her skills and staying ahead of industry trends to ensure her clients receive the very best.

Beyond her work in the chair, Roxanne’s mission is to empower others through barbering.  She dreams of teaching aspiring barbers and reaching disadvantaged communities, both in the UK and abroad, providing valuable skills to create opportunities for a brighter future.

Roxanne’s dedication to helping people feel confident and at their best every day is truly inspiring.  We’re excited for her to share her talent, passion, and vision with the Luchmun Studios community.

Meet Kyle Thompson, the newest member of the Luchmun Studios team!

A barber since 2017, Kyle’s passion for cutting hair runs deep, inspired by his mum, who’s also a barber.  From a young age, he was honing his craft, cutting friends’ hair after school and striving to perfect the art of the fade.

Kyle’s journey has taken him around the world, including a transformative chapter living in Spain.  Immersed in the culture and working with a diverse range of hair types, Kyle not only expanded his skills but also became fluent in Spanish, adding another layer of connection with his clients.

Hungry to grow and innovate, Kyle represents the new generation of barbers who are merging the precision of men’s hairdressing with the artistry of traditional barbering.  His dedication, creativity, and drive make him a fantastic addition to Luchmun Studios.
